mine nu half-brather

His name is Jus. He is named after mine pappa Justin. He is a fledgling blu jay whom kennot fly. He ken hop on our busy sidewalk below our tree. His mam had pushed him out and sed: "Fly." He kennot. Wan you have been a fledgling you must hop on tha grownd and wait while mam brings foods and waters. Mammy and papa had asked tha construction werkers to bring tha ladder and put him in his nest agin. Agin he jumped out fram high up. Agin they putted him back. Than we went for lunch and wan we had come back, agin he had jumped down.

His mam didn't feeds him becawse she felt afrayed of too menny dags and peeple on the sidewok.

Pappa rode his bike to: Wild Bird Fund. They had sed that if he kennot be safe, than he ken come live at thair place. Thairfour Papa packed him up in a holy cardbord box and took him thair. All tha peeples on the street helped gard him fram dags and peeples so they kennot step on him.

Todate mam went in to WILD BIRD FUND to say: "how is he?" They sed he is pending becawse tha vet hadn't not wrote wan report yet but he looks fine. They sed: "We have called him Jus lake yourn husband." I had waited outside with Pappa becawse tha birds know I ken chase them. Mam sed ken you pleeze bring him back to our street wan he lerns to fly. They had promised they have ourn address and that they ALWAYS bring them back to wairever they came fram. He ken fly in three to seven dates.

Now he is MINE half-brather.

P.S. Thair haven't not been a foto becawse mam and ded had been too busy helping mine brather. "She" will ask tha man fram arownd tha coroner fram us.

    1. Mem sed she KNOWS the parents miss him and KNOWS he ken survive. He is MINE favrite brather. I send wishes four all of us four piazza krusts. Mine brather ken eet them soon too. They sent mam an update:

      Hello Kristina,

The bird "Justin" was seriously dehydrated and has mites, which is life-threatening for a baby. We've sprayed for the mites and hope he will pull through.

He is still with us and we hope he will make it. Once he is eating on his own and flying, we will release him along with some buddies in a backyard where he will get food every day for the first few weeks. That is called a "soft" release, and is the best route for future success.

I'm afraid it matters only to you at this point. His parents probably mourned for a few days but they will move on to making new babies right away.

      Rita
